Venue Pricing

Access to your booked room is allocated as per the times indicated in the pricing i.e 9.00am – 5.00pm for a day booking and 6.00pm – midnight for an evening booking (Sundays until 10pm). If you require access outside of these times you will need to request that at the time of your booking and additional costs may be applied depending on the duration of time your set-up requires.

All functions must bump-out and remove all items immediately after your function. There are no storage facilities at the venue unless you book and pay for an additional room in your original booking.

The Clubhouse Staffing & Venue Fees

The Clubhouse will provide RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) trained staff to work within the bar during all functions where alcohol is being served.

All Clubhouse Staffing fees listed below apply to 2023 bookings. Clubhouse Staffing prices are subject to change for 2024 bookings. Please contact the Functions & Events Manager.

BAR STAFF

You are required to have a minimum of 2 bar staff even if alcohol is not being served. This is a Licensing/RSA requirement and/or a Club Policy. The number of bar staff needed will be determined based on the number of guests and the event itself. If there are more than 60 people, additional staff is based on 1 bar staff for every additional 30 guests. The bar staff will arrive 30 minutes prior to your event to set up the bar and stay afterwards to clean up. Their hourly rates are:
$55 + GST per hour (standard rate)
$65 + GST per hour (Sunday rate)
$75 + GST per hour (Public holidays)

This is a licencing/RSA requirement.

SECURITY

Depending on the type of event and/or the number of guests, you may be required to have a security guard on site for the duration of your event. If you have more than 100 guest, a security guard is mandatory. This is a licensing/RSA requirement. They will arrive 30 minutes before your event and stay for the duration of your event. There is a 5 hour minimum for each guard and their hourly rates are:
$75 + GST per hour (standard rate)
$85 + GST per hour (Sunday rate)
$95 + GST per hour (Public holidays)

FLOOR MANAGER

As a licenced functions and events venue, it is a requirement of any booking with more than 40 guests that a floor manager is on site for the duration of any weekend and/or evening event. Any event with more than 50 guests and alcohol is being served, you are required to have a floor manager on site. Floor managers are charged at a rate of $400 + GST for the duration of your event. They will arrive 1 hour before your event and stay until you and your guests have left. This is necessary to secure the premises and will be charged for every additional hour for all client and vendor bump in/out at the following rates:
$75 + GST per hour (standard rate)
$85 + GST per hour (Sunday rate)
$95 + GST per hour (Holiday rate)

CLEANING FEES

The Clubhouse has a flat rate cleaning fee of $200 + GST (L1) and $350 + GST (L2) for all bookings.

DISPOSAL & REMOVAL FEES

All rubbish/food/boxes/balloons/flowers/decorations of any kind etc. brought in by the Hirer or any of their vendors must be taken away and removed from the premises. If required, the Hirer must arrange for the delivery & pick up of their own skip bin with Waverley Council. Otherwise, the hirer will incur a removal fee of $1,000 + GST.

If any item such as food/boxes/equipment/balloons/flowers etc. needs to be left overnight, there is a minimum overnight storage fee of $500 + GST. Overnight storage is subject to availability of the premises the following day and will be determined based on what is being stored.

Note: We do not hire the Rooftop out separately by room. The Clubhouse is not available for school dance type events (school formals), 16th, 18th or 21st birthdays (active North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club members may hold 21st birthdays with Board approval).
